Engineering & Technical Excellence

TavanAb’s Project Task Force is comprised of highly skilled and competent professionals holding PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees across a multidisciplinary spectrum, including Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, and Industrial Engineering, as well as Business and Financial Management. By leveraging in-house expertise alongside strategic scientific collaborations with international industrial centers, this team is dedicated to addressing the nation’s industrial demands through the delivery of reliable, specialized solutions within Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) frameworks

Process Engineering Department

  • Process design and development of PFDs, P&IDs, and other process documentation in compliance with project MDR (Master Document Register).
  • Conducting process calculations and advanced simulations.
  • Ensuring design compliance with international standards and client specifications.

Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Department

  • Engineering and design of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.
  • Preparation of drawings, I/O lists, control philosophies, and all relevant documentation in accordance with the project/tender MDR.
  • Strict adherence to safety standards and international IEC/ISA regulations.

3D Modeling & Design Unit

  • Development of 3D models for equipment, piping systems, and structures.
  • Interdisciplinary clash detection and resolution.
  • Generation of isometric drawings, assembly layouts, and fabrication documents.

Project Management Department

  • Leading project execution through the entire lifecycle, from initiation to handover.
  • Managing project scope, schedule, and cost, while maintaining effective client communication.
  • Coordinating all internal departments and managing subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.

HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Department

  • Implementation of safety management systems and operational protocols.
  • Conducting regular HSE audits and safety meetings to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with environmental regulations and occupational health requirements.

  • Developing comprehensive project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).

  • Documentation management, Letter of Credit (LC) processing, and liaison with international vendors.

  • Inventory management, warehousing, and dispatching operations.
  • Controlling inbound/outbound flows and maintaining accurate data records.

  • Fabrication of skids, pressure vessels, structural frames, and piping systems.

  • Development of Quality Plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with international standards and specifications.

Quality Control (QC)

  • Performing inspections, testing, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
  • Controlling material traceability, assembly quality, and quality documentation.

Workshop Equipment Maintenance

  • Maintenance, repair, and servicing of workshop equipment.
  • Execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs for workshop machinery.

Research and Development (R&D) Department

  • The mission of this department is to develop innovative technologies, design new products, optimize packages and processes, implement innovative projects, and evaluate green and smart technologies in the water and wastewater industry.

Project Management Office (PMO)

  • The Project Management Office (PMO) defines and updates project management standards, methodologies, and tools. Its responsibilities include evaluating project performance, managing project risks, establishing reporting structures, and supporting project managers in the successful execution of EPC projects.

Strategic Management Office (SMO)

  • The Strategic Management Office (SMO) is responsible for developing and monitoring the company’s corporate strategies, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring the achievement of the organization’s strategic vision and objectives, analyzing the business environment, and coordinating organizational transformation initiatives.
